Kneading silicone soft is a condensation-curing kneading silicone with a final hardness of Shore A 30, which is easy and safe to dose and process.
The mixing ratio is 100:5.
Due to its high drawing accuracy, it offers a precise impression
and is extremely dimensionally stable due to low shrinkage.
It does not stick, is physiologically harmless and has excellent mechanical properties.
It is therefore very well suited for doubling, for example in the area of model and mold making
or as a molding and design compound as well as for molding on vertical objects or surfaces.
The kneading silicone TFC silicone type 7 is kind to the skin and is used, among other things, for impressions in otology (ear medicine) to make ear impressions for fitting hearing aids.
Other areas of use, for example in criminalistics for recording footprints or in the assessment of structural damage to walls and ceilings.
The advantage of the TFC kneading silicone type 7 lies in the problem-free processing, even of small quantities, and the very quick demoulding.
Processing instructions:
Take (weigh) the required amount from component A (white), add the required amount of 5% of the paste-like crosslinking component B and mix/knead evenly.
Mixing information in drops:
0.5 g of crosslinking agent corresponds to approx. 1 cm of paste
500g silicone = addition 50cm paste = 25g
100g silicone = addition 10cm paste = 5g
50g silicone = addition 5cm paste = 2.5g
The compound can then be applied and removed from the mold after approx. 5-6 minutes.
If possible, use vinyl gloves for removing and mixing, never latex, as this increases the setting time or prevents it entirely.
Finally, mixing with bare hands shortens the setting time.
